The first 2015 Ford Mustang was sold at the Barrett-Jackson Auction in Scottsdale, Az for 300k this past weekend. It was a GT model, so it is powered by a 5.0-liter V-8 engine producing more that 420 hp and 390 lb-ft of torque. The purchaser, Sam Pack (a car collector and Texas Ford dealer), will be able select any 2015 interior/exterior color(s) and a choice of manual or automatic transmission.
Crazy thing is, this isn't even close to the price what someone paid for the first 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray last year. It was sold for $1.1 million!
